難しいな…。確かにPTSDの原因を作ったのはジャックじゃない。でも、同じようなことはやってきたのだからジャックと4年過ごしても、同じように心の傷は出来たのかもしれない。ただ、一つだけ大きく違うのは、ジャックは私を守ることを第一に考えてくれること。だから、同じように過ごしても、私が止めてほしいと泣いて頼んだ時、ジャックは本当に止めてくれたんじゃないかと思う。
映画で観たPTSD。似たような状況や、物を目にした瞬間に恐怖に襲われていた。私も同じ。裏切られるかもしれないと察知した瞬間、パニックになる。ショックを受けた後、脳が強く締め付けられる感覚がある。その後は、強い頭痛に悩まされる。見たくない映像を見ると、心臓の鼓動が爆発する。走った時のように徐々に心拍数が上がるのではなく、一気に鼓動が爆発する。
ジャックがZEROと言った時も、まさにそう。結局吐いた。
ジャックも少しは悪いのだけど、恋愛感情があるとみなされると勝てないのだから、私達は一生懸命、犬猿の仲を演じるしかなかった。でも、結局、懇意にしてくれる人を拒否するのだから、恋愛感情がなくても誰でもショックを受けることになる。阿呆らしいとしか言いようがない。
あまり話してないから、わからないけれど、多分ジャックはかなり気が利く人なのだと思う。
恋愛感情があると勝てないと知ったから、私はイーロンに3%を残した。その時は本心だった。ただ、もの凄く厭なやり方だと思ったし、イーロンに対しても、ジャックに対しても卑怯だと後ろ目たい気分だった。当然ジャックも、理解しながらもいい気はしなかったと思う。でも、ジャックはイーロンに含みを保たせることを、自ら買って出てくれた。私に言わせるのではなく、自分が言う。少し救われた気がしたけど、罪悪感は拭えなかった。その頃から、もうイーロンに勝利を譲ればいいと思うようになった。賞金なら、二人共どうでもいいのではないかと思ったし、勝利なんて無意味だと思う。でも、ジャックは首を縦に振らない。だから聞いた。
なぜ勝ちに拘るの？そんなに勝ちたい？何の意味があるの？私は勝利より、自由がほしい。
ただ、そこにジャックがいたかどうかはわからない。
ジャックとのやり取りはスローテンポ。ジャックの考えを掴めているのかわかりにくい。でも、不安に陥ることがあまりない。相手の考えがわからなくて、ストレスを感じることはあるけれど、精神的にショックを受けることはまだそんなにない。お互い、相手が辛くないようにするにはどうすればいいかをずっと考えてるように思う。ただ、やっぱり阿呆らしいルールにばかり目を取られたのは間違いだった。
21が3にならないのなら、私に勝たせてほしい。私の勝ちなら、イーロンとジャックにはフェアだから。それが駄目なら、理由を教えてほしい。ただ、終わらせたい。それだけ。

In regard to our previous exchange of notes about Jung and such, this work might be a good addition. It was published a few years ago, but I only found out about it today. It should cover Jung' last few years, complementary to Memories, Dreams, Reflections. It was written by a woman and it could be somehow controversial. I'll circle back to it someday.
