What's gives us power on nostr is the fact that we can't be banned.
The issue with FB and X is that people work extremely hard to build a following then those sites ban them. There is no way to tell your followers to where to keep following you. On YouTube and streaming site it's the same issue.
I've seen over the years countless users work hard only to get banned on both sites or to get demonetized on streaming sites.
Nostr allows us to never lose our followers so even if the streaming site bans us we can quickly tell our followers where the live stream it. Eventually will we decentralized live streaming as well although you can pretty much stream using nostr.
The zap stream feature is also extremely powerful.
This is only the beginning.

1. I don't understand why people think Peter Todd is a regular contributor to Bitcoin Core. I don't think I've seen him make that claim, I've certainly not seen other contributors make that claim, and as far as I can tell, he has made three commits since 2016.

It's cool to me that we can even attempt to experiment with a supply capped currency, this was impossible two decades ago, but that is not a problem you can hand waive away. The supply cap dooms bitcoin IMO, and it's not a dichotomy between hard cap and let Jerome Powell decide.
