According to Judism. Jesus' was an everyday guy with. no divine powers. The Christian leaders setup the Jesus guy and make him look divine and then set him up to be crucified in order to get Christianity to be more powerful. It seems to of worked. Christianity became more popular.

Whenever I visit Germany or the Nordic countries i’m always surprised at that the way everybody just assumes i speak the language. It’s kind of nice, but a little weird too. My mom’s family immigrated to the US in the 1880’s but only switched to speaking English at home because of WWII. For obvious reasons of not being down with the politics of Germany at the time. After the war, they didn’t go back to speaking German, except for songs and keeping cultural traditions.
It’s really interesting to be in a place where your ancestors come from. A few years ago I went to the tiny village of Plath, a couple hours north of Berlin. As far as we know that’s where my family came from. It’s a very small place, a couple hundred houses, a church, a bunch of farms, and no shops or restaurants of any kind. Honestly it didn’t look like any buildings had been built in the last 150 years.
Now when I’m in Germany, like I find myself today, I just feel kind of weird and incompetent when i have to explain that i don’t speak german to everybody I interact with. A few times today, getting through the airport in Munich, they’ve just ignored my protestations that I don’t speak German and went ahead trying to tell me something in German anyway. Maybe they think i’m acting the way German’s claim they don’t speak good english but then proceed to be entirely fluent. Germany isn’t very helpful a language to speak in New Zealand, I’m going to try Te Reo first, but maybe someday i’ll spend more time with focus in a german speaking country and try and learn.

Cats killed two of my weed plants. And continued to shit in my garden last night, even after applying the repellent sprays. So apparently those don't do shit.
Pre-caffeinated brain is telling me to go kinetic diplomacy on their ass. But my rational mind will probably kick in after I have coffee. It's weird they went after the weed plants. This is like the first time doing that in three or four years though, so that's a new development.

As other nations begin to embrace Bitcoin and develop frameworks that foster innovation and financial empowerment, the UK is falling behind—hampered by unclear regulation and missed opportunities.
According to recent reports, the UK government currently holds approximately 61,000 bitcoins, primarily seized in criminal investigations. These holdings are worth over $6 billion at today’s prices. Yet, there is no public strategy or policy on how these assets will be managed. This lack of direction echoes the now-infamous decision between 1999 and 2002, when then-Chancellor Gordon Brown sold around 401 tonnes of UK gold reserves at an average of just $275 per ounce—a price dwarfed by today’s market of over $2,300 per ounce. That misstep has become a case study in short-sighted asset management. We must not make a similar mistake with Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin Policy UK Manifesto 2025 outlines a strong and sensible approach for the future—advocating fair regulation, financial education, and tax clarity. It also supports individual rights, including privacy and self-custody. These are not fringe ideas; they are essential foundations for a modern financial system that works for the public, not just institutions.
Bitcoin is more than just an investment asset—it represents an open, decentralized financial network that could benefit individuals, small businesses, and the economy at large. I urge you to raise these issues in Parliament and support the development of a national strategy that recognizes both the opportunities and responsibilities of digital assets.
I’m not alone in my concern. Many citizens, including myself, want to see the UK step forward and lead, not fall further behind.
