Well if everyone holds the currency since we are assuming this is the dominant currency to have control over the economy. Then everyone would get this effect meaning it would raise standard of living. Like you said no other currency has a hard cap so all we are saying all of us is theoretical because none of us have a crystal ball we can only make assumptions from our own understandings of economics and how we perceive the future will look.

Agree to disagree. I think we need more Bitcoin implementations which is healthy for the network. Core's hegemony has become a vulnerability, and some of their contributors are clearly pushing big miner's agenda. This goes beyond stopping spam on my node. This is about bringing back the power of small nodes and keep bad actors in check. If we wanna have a truly permissionless protocol, we need to fight against mining centralization which is the real danger.

I’m all for multiple Bitcoin implementations—diversity at the code level is healthy, no question.
But let’s be real: filtering valid transactions from your mempool doesn’t fight miner centralization. It doesn’t bring power back to small nodes. It just disconnects your node from the rest of the network while still forcing you to process the same transactions later when they’re mined.
That’s not resistance. That’s redundancy.
If your goal is to push back against centralization, great—but blocking transactions that follow consensus rules and pay the fee isn’t the way to do it. You’re not stopping anything. You’re just fragmenting the mempool, wasting bandwidth, and creating the illusion of control.
A truly permissionless protocol means accepting that you don’t get to pick which valid uses you like.
If it pays, it stays. That’s Bitcoin.

I have noticed a decline, usually related to two commonalities (though I will remind myself correlation doesn't equal causation):
1. A growing increase in using the zapathon hashtag for purposes other than its intention (ie. "I wAnT sAtS fOr NoThInG")
2. The nauseating increase in the Zaps-for-follows trend, people prefer to become walking advertising billboards than provide something of use and beneficial to the Noatr ecosystem.
