Je n’ai pas les compétences techniques nécessaires pour vérifier le code ou comparer les architectures proposées. Aujourd’hui OP_RETURN est limité à 80 bytes. Pas d’intérêt selon moi à le passer à illimité si on veut que Bitcoin reste, au plus possible, un système monétaire en freinant les ambitions des pseudos créateurs vrai spammers.
Il faut, à mon petit niveau, déjà s’intéresser au problème, essayer de suivre et de comprendre un peu, puis faire confiance à un OG. J’ai passé 1h28 à voir la vidéo Bitcoin Core Actively Sabotaging Bitcoin de BitcoinMechanic (dispo sur YouTube).
Il y explique que c’est un choix politique.
J’ai voté 🗳️ pour la position qu’il défend.
J’ai agit en arrêtant de faire Bitcoin Core et en installant Bitcoin Knots 🪢 à la place.
Puis j’ai essayé de le paramétrer au mieux.
Lorsque quelqu’un me dit que ça sert à rien, je sais que c’est faux, car ma volonté est d’apprendre en agissant à mon niveau et ça c’est déjà fait avec succès ✅

This is not my argument. I think what people who are for this change would say it makes things less confusing, helps with onboarding, makes bitcoin sound cheap (many buy shitcoins because they think they have more room to grow), easier UX, easier to explain sending bitcoin vs sats since you don’t need to learn about sats it’s all one thing. That’s a lot of disingenuous claims meant to confuse people. I’ll just address two points and skip the rest (though I can talk about those too if needed).
First, filters do stop inscriptions. Luke actually made a PR proposing a way to prevent their abuse through policy. Core locked it, but the change was implemented in Knots - and it’s working in terms of reducing the network impact.
Second, inscriptions are provably harmful to the network. They’ve bloated the UTXO set from 4GB to 12GB in just two years, effectively bricking low-end hardware for running nodes. So this isn’t just a matter of “preference” or “point of view.” That narrative is outdated. There are things you do want in Bitcoin if you care about scaling its monetary use, and there are things you clearly don’t want, like people abusing it as free cloud storage.

この辺(山形県大石田町)は最上川が蛇行してるところで流れが早いのよね。難所ゆえに昔から港町があっていまでもその名残が少しあります。
近隣の大石田駅は新幹線がとまるので、東京から来やすいです。最近人気な銀山温泉の最寄り駅でもあります。
最上川のそばに日帰り温泉もあって人気のスポットです。

I don't think their needs to be one or the other. People will naturally use the measurement needed based on the transaction. Newcomers will probably more easily adapt to saying just sats value as they become more used and valuable as transactions compared to whole bitcoins.
