The more I explore Nostr—especially clients like Primal—the more limited it feels in some ways. I really prefer Damus overall, but I do like Primal’s Explore page.
I’ve tried Nostur, still getting used to it. Also heard some chatter about Yakihonne—curious to try it out.
I mostly use iOS and web.

That's why some of them are freaking out and demanding a change in denomination, to create a faux, temporary wealth-effect. Turn every satoshi millionaire into a Bitcoin millionaire, with some rebranding.
And others encourage the US government to trash their fiat currency, to get the $ Bitcoin price to suddenly rise. But our purchasing power doesn't rise, merely because the NgU.

UK inflation jumps to 3.5% in April as higher household bills kick in

Figures released this morning showed inflation jumped to 3.5% in the year to April, driven largely by increases in household bills, energy costs, airfares and council tax.
The jump was greater than economists had predicted, though it's worth bearing in mind that the Bank of England has previously said it expects inflation to peak at 3.7% between July and September before dropping back to its 2% target.

1) There aren’t enough people doing this to suppress the price.
2) The people who do this, do this consistently so their impact on price is consistent.
Meaning bitcoiners are not waiting for $108K to dump billions of dollars just because they are hungry.

Yeah, it's a classic case of rising prices curing rising prices, by crushing demand. We also cut our spending nearly in half.
They can take out more debt, but it won't help them fight deflation, as they can't find any projects to spend it on, and inflation requires monetary velocity.
And, since money in a credit-based currency is credit, they have to somehow get someone to take on the debt. But private people are going bankrupt and aging/dying, the population is tired of mass immigration, the youth buys cellphones instead of cars and houses, and companies are making like a 🍌 or also going bankrupt, so... who is going to spend that money?
They can park it with the billions leftover in the Corona fund. 😂
