A joint operation between the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF), through the ROTAM Battalion, and the Federal Police resulted in the dismantling of a criminal group involved in drug trafficking on the night of this Thursday (22). The action began after the PF passed on to the PMDF information about a Toyota Etios vehicle that was allegedly acting as a scout in the transportation of drugs from Uberlândia (MG) to Brasília (DF). The ROTAM teams intensified patrols on the BR-040 and located the suspected car. During the operation, the police found that the Etios was providing cover for a Ford Ka, which was carrying the drugs. When they realized the police were approaching, the drivers attempted to flee, initiating a chase that ended a few kilometers ahead, when the vehicles were intercepted. In the apprehension, the police found 19 packets of marijuana inside the Ford Ka. Three men were arrested on the spot and taken to the Federal Police headquarters, where they will face charges of drug trafficking and criminal association.

The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF), through the Operational Tactical Group (GTOP 40), arrested a man suspected of drug trafficking in Vila Planalto, Brasilia, on Thursday (22). During the stop, the police found eight packages of marijuana, a motorcycle that, according to the PMDF, was used for distributing the drugs, as well as a fake revolver and a cell phone with the suspect. The man was taken to the 6th Police Station, where he was arrested on the spot and remains at the disposal of the Justice.

The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) arrested a man accused of assaulting and threatening his own wife in the Ceilândia Administrative Region. The action was carried out by a team from the Operational Transit Group (GOT). According to the corporation, the police were in the vicinity of the Special Women's Delegation II (DEAM II) when they heard, through the radio, a report of a possible attempted homicide. Upon arriving at the address reported, the police spoke with a witness who reported seeing the suspect assaulting the victim and indicated where he was hiding. The police located the man, who tried to flee but ended up falling and suffering minor injuries. During the apprehension, the police found a stiletto, which was allegedly used in the crime. The suspect was taken to DEAM II, where he was placed at the disposal of the justice system.

Our negotiated deal with the United Kingdom is working out well for all. I strongly recommend to them, however, that in order to get their Energy Costs down, they stop with the costly and unsightly windmills, and incentivize modernized drilling in the North Sea, where large amounts of oil lay waiting to be taken. A century of drilling left, with Aberdeen as the hub. The old fashioned tax system disincentivizes drilling, rather than the opposite. U.K.’s Energy Costs would go WAY DOWN, and fast!
