A deflationary economic environment is bad, but deflationary costs aren't.
The later signals collapsing demand and economic stagnation, while the former reflects innovation and increased productivity.
As for whether money should have a hard cap, I lean toward a free market approach. Let the market decide what form of money serves it best. If a hard-capped currency is what people voluntarily choose, so be it. If they prefer a form of money with predictable inflation, cool. What matters is that it isn’t imposed by fiat because true value emerges through voluntary adoption, not coercion.
I know where I stand, but accept that I may be wrong.

SOLUTION: a heatmap, a buzz factor... some way of showing me where the action is in a given time range.
EXAMPLES: there are 5 active audio chats going on right now; there are 10 people talking in the #nostr channel on coolr.chat; 10 photos have been posted in the past hour on #olas.
HOW: I don't know. Go for it.

I agree, Bitcoin isn't here to fix inequality, but I believe it is here to reinforce the rules.
When everyone plays under the same reinforced rules, the gap between skill and experience truly manifest themselves.
While that will drasticlaly expose inequalities, I believe it will overall be better for everyone.
Even when playing at a lower level than the pros, it is more fun when everyone abides by the same rules. You can appreciate the skill gap even more, knowing they've masted something fair and square.
But I could be wrong. Maybe I'm just too optimistic.
