Thanks for you feedback, much appreciated. I'm not a sales guy so if it gives ICO vibes it's just an effect of that.
The main principle is to ensure user's are distributed more evenly across many relays and that it becomes possible to discover them no matter where they host their events.
Step one is building a new Nostr app that builds on these ideas and ensures everyone can be discovered, even if you don't post any content to the current large and popular relays.
Second step is ensuring that there are reliable pool of user relays available and that the app itself picks from the available pool in a manner that ensures good distribution and when load is high on a relay.
Kind of like World of Warcraft, where you could see if a server was massively populated or not and could choose a less popular one. This must be automated and seamless for most users to get large scale adoption.
Perhaps I could have spiced up the offers a bit for early investors, just don't want to promise too much. Goal now is to complete an MVP within the next 3 months and demonstrate that the concept is viable, that we can help Nostr scale and increase user adoption.
Got a good foundation already to build on and I have high hopes it will work out great. Thanks!

First of all, I am sorry about your brother. Those situations are always difficult. But where is the truth in this scenario? Your parents and you have to take care of him, setting boundaries and making complex decisions for him. That is something good. He is not stressed, he knows what to expect, and that is kind and honest.
I was thinking more about general scenarios, for example:
1) Religious fanatics who yell and do nasty things because they disagree with you, or just because your religion has a slightly different flavor. Those are subjective truths, but people can be very unkind about them.
2) An engineer who has seen it all, done it all, been everywhere twice, and insists it is either his way or nothing at all. A person who lacks the patience and skill to explain his way but still demands it. He might even be objectively right, but nobody would want to work with him and the amount of friction he would create will result in net negative for the employer.
As I was saying only very few people can get away with being an asshole because their are right.
But now we are really getting to the ancient debate of content vs. form.

Spending time in nature prepares you to be more self-reliant and responsible in other areas of life.
If you spend enough time in the mountains, the ocean or on rivers you know that nature is both beautiful and dangerous at the same time. You cannot have one without the other. One false step or moment of poor judgment could lead to a serious injury or worse.
The same goes taking self custody of your bitcoin. If you want to harness bitcoin’s beauty (and functionality) you must take responsibility. There is no way out and the consequences of making just 1 mistake are grave. Even if you survive losing your bitcoin, you still lose all the time and energy you can’t get back.

I don't see why it would. Broad understanding of one's environment and available tools will always make one more capable than those who have a narrower understanding. Many people have access to the same tools and information I do yet are less productive and capable. The cream will always rise. I'll just be even better ten years from now.
Of course, we may be using different meanings, which is why it's important to define terms. I'll work on that. But this is what I mean by educated. I don't necessarily mean credentialed, which some people associate with educated. I mean broadly capable, skilled, and knowledgeable (critical thinking skills, fundamental understanding of engineering and problem solving, philosophy, etc). I'm always going to be more effective than someone without those things, all else being equal. I will beat them in some way.
A medical doctor will probably use AI more effectively for medicine than someone who has no medical training, for example. They'll just be doing even deeper work and pushing current limitations. I'm unconvinced that AI will solve every problem humans will ever face in every area of humanity. Maybe I'm wrong.

For 20 years I took a daily steroid inhaler because I was allergic to dogs which my loyalty never waivers. Their dander was my trigger.
Since I went full ketogenic two months ago I realized I no longer need a daily inhaler. I’m completely immune to the dander…
