Thanks! There’s a fun story behind it!
When we purchased the house, buckthorn had grown completely over everything up to the bottom step where the cat is. While trying to cut down enough to make it into the woods, I tried to drive a shovel into the ground to hold it upright for a minute and it hit rock. Tried elsewhere, hit it again, and again. I dug it out and cleaned it off to find that. Also found more steps further down.

再比如说像后宫那个环境，成百上千的女人这想着一件事，就是被皇帝得宠。皇帝最宠爱的也就是那么几个，剩下的大多数都是睡完一次就扔，常年累月再也见不到，这些被抛弃的人多绝望啊！这很自然导致嫉妒和狠，这些女人就拉帮结派互相斗，就像甄嬛，她那么得宠周边的人包括皇后都恨得想要生吃她，她不心狠手辣也活不了，都是被逼无奈。还有像孙维，其实她就是看不得朱令比她优秀，所以就是嫉妒下毒，跟后宫那些女人用阴招是一样的。
这就是达尔文那种适者生存的逻辑，你在这样的环境里生存只能斗，很多时候是被逼的。强者要统治弱者，弱者要反抗强者，都想着当人上人，谁甘心被别人踩在脚下呢。像我这种不想当人上人的也有，那就只能被社会淘汰啦[捂脸]
确实，我不适应中国社会的这个环境，我不想和任何人争斗什么，我没有什么野心，可以的话都可以交个朋友。

My tongue itches when I eat certain fruits/vegetables that are not organic (I e., blueberries, spinach, strawberries...).
My theory is that I'm allergic to the glyohosate (or other chemicals) that are applied by the industrial farmers.
I was at a conference recently where they served "healthy" fruit cups at the break...one bite and my tongue started itching. I stopped eating immediately.... my colleague noticed and asked why.
I explained my rational....she responded ...."my tongue is itchy too?!" I could see the gears of her brain spinning and making connections. 😂
