I'm not much of a magician, but I recently worked a spell that surprised me.
A little more than a year ago, I decided I'd try to catch a moonbeam. I placed a medium sized quartz crystal inside a sealed mason jar filled with water and set it out in area well exposed to the moonlight - a common practice I learned about from my mother.
It was a full moon, but not a particularly strong or large one. It was February, 2024 just before the leap year/day.
Anyway. I caught the moonbeam with the intention of feeding the water to my cat afterward.
I had recently brought the cat home from the shelter and she wasn't adapting well to the change. She was very skittish and untrusting of us (the fam), despite a couple weeks having already gone by. She would basically stay secluded in tight spaces, like under the dresser, for most of the day and sneak around in the middle of the night for food. In any case, it wasn't healthy, or at least I didn't think so.
...So I caught a moonbeam with the intention of bringing her closer within the family circle.
Long story short, within a single day day, perhaps mere hours of drinking this 'moon juice,' my cat became an absolute lover.
No shit. I'm not exaggerating.
It's been over a year. My cat is a solid member of the family. She's probably my best friend in the world outside of my wife and kid.
