In the price range where the 16E now finds itself, it’s not competitive. The C1 radio will probably not make it as is into the 17s because it’s lacking some support for frequencies supported by existing radios (unless Apple is limiting that in software again, which would be awful). I’m also not clear about the lack of UWB. (1/2)
