Thank you very much for the time you take to make a clear overview of this talk.
I am wondering, if so much people want to put extra data on bitcoin blockchain, and other wants to keep the blockchain free of extra datas, why not use another side chain ?
I mean a chain with block linked to original btc blockchain by a kind of checksum written in it. and all this extra data stored in this side chain.
It will also be interesting to add some rewards to this side chain for nodes and miners because they will not host all theses datas for free.
Or why not a completely new blockchain not linked to bitcoin dedicated to that purpose, stocking extra datas ?
Miner would want to mine the chain that have the more interesting profitability, sometimes it will be extra datas blockchain, sometimes the bitcoin blockchain...
Is it as impossible as the creation of bitcoin was ?
