I have been encouraged by the number of people joining the Danish signal groups on leaving Meta and Google, we're bloody lucky to have such dedicated people as nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqtjrq2yl9k9fqwq6wt0k8n22xf7uhxsdz9d7gqtzrp4t0asarazeq4wqjez + nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqjvgtzzev6cw2ck9sz4ruf2ks2ttdtlv4cm077mf2mwhdwe609avqhyv6yl to help ease the transition.
It's still not straightforward enough, but the more people get used to a new normal the better.
I posted on the other place (bs not X) that we wouldn't force feed our kids Russia Today or expect North Korea to look after our cloud storage, but I fear that's exactly what it's coming to with the US..
I worry about DE + GL election interference, and now the threat to cut #Ukraine off from Starlink if no new mineral contracts, shows how vulnerable we are to their banditry pure and simple. I don't think nearly enough people in Europe have grasped this yet.
Never mind #dkpol who still keep stating the US is still our most important ally.
Which may be true for now, but I very much hope they are also preparing for the day when an executive order suddenly cuts us off from all access to Microsoft servers in statens IT for example.
