Venerable Calistrat, guide of souls in Timișeni and Vasiova, faced relentless trials, enduring imprisonment and torture for defending the Orthodox faith against the pressures of Uniatism. His unwavering spirit and commitment to God inspired countless others to remain steadfast in their beliefs. He was released from prison because of the love he gave to his torturers in prison, turning them into Orthodox believers.
Let us pray to Saint #Calistrat, that through his intercessions, we may find the strength to uphold our faith amidst adversity and remain true to Christ's teachings.
