35 “‘Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity. 36 Use honest scales and honest weights, an honest ephah[d] and an honest hin.[e] I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt.
Sure brings to mind bitcoin being an honest scale, and the constant debasing of our money being a “dishonest scale”. The fact that God tells His people to do these things, implies that many people at that time, like ours, were not. The power of bitcoin is it overcomes the tendency of humanity to cheat, by programming transparency and math and fairness right into it.
