According to a summary document from a yeshiva, which was obtained by Walla and prepared by the Attorney General's Office, it appears that since the High Court ruling, only 1,399 ultra-Orthodox individuals have been drafted into the Israeli army out of the 10,000 draft notices sent. The yeshiva notes that the Israeli army is urgently in need of soldiers due to the ongoing war in Gaza, but despite the efforts made, the number of ultra-Orthodox individuals joining the army has not increased.
