Every day seems so significant, right now. We are living in some momentous times.
I was rereading a thread I was posting on from 4 years ago. It’s entertaining, still. I dared him to short $MSTR in 2021. I hope he did not.

I love slick deals. FatWallet was better, but they sold out and went downhill.
Anyway, as I try to document this medical condition that science redacted, I have to pick from 30 years of weirdness along with whatever is transpiring currently, as well as what was in the original article I read that documented the treatment used to cause this condition and its effects . It is a lot.
So, I’m going to try and do justice to where I am in the process today.
I noticed last week that GI cramping had returned. Oh yeah. This is complicated to explain, as I am sure I will get some of this wrong, but I will do my best.
The condition is volume depleting. This means that over time, you lose blood volume. For most people, this would be noticeable in different ways. However, in my case, the heart is beating different. I won’t go into that right now, but suffice to say, while the EKG looks almost right, what is going on is almost backwards from an electrical impulse perspective. This causes the heart to create a small suction effect. That is a huge issue, as blood should be forced through the circulatory system not pulled through. Pulling it through causes veins to collapse forever as volume is depleted. This is painful. But, once those veins collapse, the pain goes away in whatever region was affected.
So, at this point, my blood volume is some very significant amount less than it should be because all the capillaries and lesser vessels have collapsed. It isn’t noticeable for a variety of reasons that I also won’t go into right here.
But, there comes a point when all the minor stuff is closed and even some major things and you are left with the circulation to the stomach and part of the GI tract. Here I should mention that the whole thing is centered around the pituitary and its ultimate failure over time due to being overworked for decades controlling things it isn’t supposed to control (at least anymore, I think the condition itself gives argument to the possibility that at one time in our history, it did control more).
The article pointed out that the pituitary operates on a circadian rhythm. This rhythm gets modified during hypophyseal failure. See, things like this make me know the article was real. I could have never known at the time that the pituitary had anything circadian to it. Anyway, everything the pituitary has control of, ACTH, TSH, GH, ADH, they can be used to impact heartrate and blood pressure. That’s great when the pituitary isn’t failing, but as it begins to finally reach its limit, it cannot get enough bloodflow to the stomach and GI. This causes the cramping.
The article discussed how the men with this condition that were in this phase would gather for large feasts at night because that was the only time their stomachs would not cramp from all the eating. There were even pictures of such gatherings. Eventually, though, the got to a point where they would eat and then rest upright in special reclining chairs. The article discussed how they would begin moaning at a specific time as the circulation waned and the cramps set in. I’m still functioning, so I’m not at that point, yet, but I will say, it is quite uncomfortable.
I’m real. My condition is real. You can trace me through my profile. I’m faculty at a med school and no one can do a thing for me. Not one soul believes outside of my family, because doctors don’t know what they don’t know.
I am working on getting my own node setup and figuring out Highlighter so I can create long form posts, but until then I need to document somehow.
