Creating a dead-simple client is so easy that one can choose to live in the stone age or the distant futurel interop with the "rest of society" notwithstanding. But even that: nothing stopping a future splinter cell of luddite nostr'ers from freezing all their relays and clients to 2025-02-25 versions of everything and we can just have "today's" experience forever.
