Antim the Ivirian, a Georgian, was captured and enslaved, yet his wisdom shone brighter than any crown. He mastered languages, became a renowned calligrapher and sculptor, and was eventually ordained a bishop in Romania. Despite his high position, he never forgot his roots, printing books in Romanian, Greek, and Slavonic, and championing education for all. His boldness in denouncing corruption led to his exile and martyrdom, but his legacy of faith and knowledge endures.
