I surely hope so.
The OP_RETURN data is 3.85 GB currently. If OP limits are lifted, it is highly likely that the amount of OP_RETURN data will increase and require node runners to adapt to increased storage, bandwidth, and performance demands, while also considering security, economic, regulatory and governance aspects.
While it's difficult to predict the exact increase, it's reasonable to assume a significant rise in OP_RETURN data usage if the limits are lifted, which in turn will make it more costly for node runners to continue.
