70% correlation means that 30% of the time it's not correlated. These uncorrelated periods I have circled in green.
I personally believe that we are still on the 109 day chart and that the current deviation is fueled by positive market sentiment.
The fear and greed index chart tracks almost exactly what the price has been doing recently.
