They are less common today (occasionally some spring up where foreign construction workers are living), but they don't get swept harshly by cops like in USA - or I'd sooner or later have heard about it, either via the international media or the Fediverse (where there are a lot of ESEA folk). It appears some have even been turned into normal social housing..
