2025-04-27 21:27:20We don’t need taxes this high, but basic fire, EMT, police and military is essential. Obviously it would be cool if we can all live in peace in a jungle and are never bothered, but it just isn’t super realistic. We gotta take care of each other and it’s super effective to have highly trained and accountable citizens step up into these very hard or dangerous roles.
