All the crazy health stuff with my parents has been resolved; the situation isn't one that anyone would choose, but it's as good as it can possibly be. A cousin who lives close by has stepped in and saved the day, for which I am enormously grateful.
I still don't have a job, but I'm not out of savings, so I'm trying to take a moment to de-stress. Living in interesting times doesn't make that easy, though.
