In the UK, it is thankfully dirt cheap. Plus, at least in London, every pothole has free WiFi. Travelling abroad often ends in nasty surprises, though. Canadian ISPs really like to screw tourists. I paid 80 CAD for a prepaid SIM and data package that would cost about £5 around here. My last trip to Canada was when I learned to research eSIMs before travelling.
