2025-05-06 22:12:56It’s only predatory because people don’t understand what the tradeoffs are. On nostr, people will have to decide for themselves how they want to monetize content. They could hide it behind a paywall. They could count on the generosity of others zapping. They could put ads in the content themselves. There is more freedom so more ways to monetize.
