i didn't hear about these other cultures before but the danube was for sure a superhighway of europe and why it has long been a hotbed of culture, and i've lived on several points of its path and seen many cities along that path in the last 10 years
i believe that part of the reason why this region is so important is because it's a good place to be during a pole flip, the magnetic material in the crust has two main alignments, and one of them makes the middle of about serbia/bosnia the equator (and opposite side, hawaii)
same goes for all the parts of africa, from libya to somalia to ethiopia to modern south africa, the region was, i believe, equatorial, and rich in life in the 6000 year period before Tianchi (which i think was Babel)
