#WhatsApp claims they are end to end encrypted. But can anyone verify that independently? When no one else can verify independently, we can only trust blindly. Can we detect if they publish extra keys on the server for our account? Do they show if there are multiple devices logged in to an account? I don't use WhatsApp, so can't verify it myself.
