U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that two U.S. Air Force B-52H long-range strategic bombers conducted the second Bomber Task Force (BTF) mission in 2 days. The two B-52Hs took off from RAF Fairford in the UK, traveled to the Middle East, and flew across 6 partner nations in the CENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR). While there, they conducted aerial refueling and a number of training missions at ranges in these countries. Rather notably, one unnamed partner nation did provide a fighter escort to the two bombers throughout the entire mission. https://image.nostr.build/a46dc7b92b27bc13aaec454738da44d6a2870cb7c37efd688bf91c22f3fdc5e8.jpg
