On June 13, 1958, in the communist prison of Aiud, #Saint Constantin Sârbu, a priest, endured torture for refusing to renounce his faith. He was forced to stand for days, deprived of sleep and food, and brutally beaten. Despite the immense suffering, he continued to pray and encourage other prisoners to remain steadfast in their belief. Before he died, he whispered, "Lord, forgive them," embodying the ultimate Christian virtue of forgiveness. May his sacrifice inspire us to defend our #faith against all odds. Lord, hear our prayers through St. Constantin's intercession.
