Martyr Hermes, a Roman soldier, converted to Christianity after witnessing the unwavering faith of other martyrs. He was imprisoned and tortured for refusing to renounce Christ. During his trial, he boldly confessed his faith, enduring further brutal punishments, including being scourged and having his skin torn with iron hooks. Despite the intense suffering, he remained steadfast. Finally, he was beheaded for his unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ. Saint Hermes, pray for us, that we may also remain firm in our faith!
