She surely has a point when it comes to explaining some general concepts like i.e. verb conjugations or sentence building blocks. But it's a free ressource that works well for many beginners and I don't think the methodology is a big deal for most grammar items. Typically I just want to look up some expression or particle use. Another highly regarded Japanese grammar book would be the Dictionary of Japanese Grammar series.
