#France 🇫🇷 has knocked Russia 🇷🇺 off the second spot, for arms exports. Germany's 🇩🇪 Rheinmetall expanded their production lines by €8 billion in 2024, and they have a massive list of outstanding contracts; might soon overtake China 🇨🇳 .
Spain 🇪🇸 replaces Israel 🇮🇱 , in the last spot.
European countries (minus Russia and Turkey 🇹🇷 ), now produce 31,5% of arms exports. The EU 🇪🇺 is still dwarfed by the USA 🇺🇸, with 27,2%.
