2025-03-02 16:03:26Watched Beau Travail directed by Claire Denis last night. It follows a former officer of the French foreign legion as he reflects on his past. The story is told through his memories of his time leading a group of legionnaires. There’s minimal dialogue, lots of almost hypnotic military trainings. Reminds me in parts of Full Metal Jacket. Really good movie.
