it is always the enemy, the God of the bible was the Creator and literally Satan, although represented by an angel at several points, is the forces of entropy and decay, and living things that promote decay are the precise definition of evil... only life can do intentional stuff, and doing stuff that undoes intention is the opposite of life
life that is infected with death is literally disease
so, yes, life is always good, creation is good
