MUNICH ATTACK: SHOT FIRED DURING SUSPECT’S ARREST
Munich police have confirmed that an officer fired a shot during the arrest of the 24-year-old Afghan suspect, who drove into a crowd, injuring 28 people.
Authorities believe the suspect sped up after seeing officers before crashing into the group.
The incident occurred near a demonstration, where police were already present for security.
In Germany, armed officers are routinely deployed at protests for safety reasons.
