yeah, longhair domestic (forest) cats are also vey majestic with their manes... there's a female one with this awesome 80s style asymmetric black/white marking who has that beautiful main over the side of her head and flowing down her chest... also think of horses with their manes and tales... even in the bible several places it talks about it, samson is the most obvious one related to a man but also the stuff about women keeping their hair mostly covered in public because of its majesty... i'm not sure i like that one exactly but i think there is a line between looking good and whoring it up
