Carina over Lake Ballard
The Great Carina Nebula (NGC 3372) graces the southern sky above Lake Ballard, Australia, in a 22-panel mosaic. This star-forming region is visible to the naked eye, with the Milky Way, Alpha and Beta Centauri, and the Southern Cross nearby. Captured using a star tracker on December 25, 2017.
