@CashApp doesn’t/didn’t at the time, transmit Sats 丰 to, say my Nostr wallet, two years ago. I guess it isn’t the lightning layer after all on CashApp, only #bitcoin . For nostr:npub1uense4apn73tvh4u20tzlp6u72g4kdustzsm0k0sqy6yuwh5jxlsy97y76 ‘sbirthday 2 years ago, I wanted to pay nostr:npub1e2rd2k45ym2jmctnysfadxumrvrr57vqj69ck6trt2y62c40r0kqs9lx8t in Sats 丰 for some of her amazing ₿ mugs. I had a minimal amount of Sats 丰 in my #nostr wallet. I tried to send Sats from CashApp to my hot wallet so I could complete the transaction on #nostr, but it was not happening. I got on the horn with the customer support at CashApp and they said it was not possible, something about the mempool (this was 2 years ago and I was lost, as a new nostrich).
I use Square for business and love it. For the first time in 14 years of regular use, I experienced 3 server error warning messages this past Saturday. Not the customer card error, not WiFi issues, but 3 separate server errors, which required me to reboot my phone every sale. Fortunately all three customers were very patient. But this embarrassed some of them, no matter how much I promised that it was not an issue with their card. I did not complain to Square, but perhaps I should have.
