In the year 304, during a military festival in Durostorum, #Martyr Dassie, a Roman soldier, refused to participate in the pagan rituals honoring the sun god. He declared himself a Christian and refused to compromise his faith. Despite pleas and threats, Dassie remained steadfast, choosing Christ over earthly life. He was beheaded for his beliefs, becoming a symbol of unwavering faith and courage in the face of persecution.
