Visited the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg for the first time today, and oh, my heart🥹 We read about 🇿🇦 Apartheid in history class, but so much was left out, so much I only learned today.
The brutality, the resilience, the weight of it all. I walked through those halls feeling a deep gratitude for freedom fighters like Nelson Mandela and his comrades, who endured hell to liberate their people. They sacrificed everything, yet in the end, freedom prevailed.
That’s why it sickens & saddens me when I see some African leaders and leaders in general, turn against their own people. To withhold freedom, to put oppressive laws in place, to fight those they should be serving… in this day and age, it’s disgusting, to say the least.
This is why I’m grateful for Bitcoin every single day, it’s the new tool for freedom. And we? We are the new freedom fighters. Unlike those before us who endured torture, violence, and death in their struggle, our fight looks different.
Bitcoin doesn’t demand blood. It’s a peaceful revolution. But like Mandela, who never wavered in his quest for liberation, we must stay relentless in ours, to bring freedom money to everyone. No matter how hard or crazy the ride gets, we keep going. Because true freedom is never given. It’s taken.
How are you contributing to the fight for financial freedom today?
