Awesome. Glad you found this. Basically this API just produces a score and complains if the score is bad. I VERY much like using a client-slide API to do this. nostr:nprofile1qyfhwumn8ghj7mmxve3ksctfdch8qatz9uq35amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3w0fjkyetyv4jjucmvda6kgtcprfmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuem9w3skccne9e3k7mf0wccsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uqzqgycd7urua6ajmgc3jjunhcseekkz0swkljhdzs0pvftxlx6cgdnspk6q3 are you looking at this for your iOS app?
And for Android .. so far all I can find is this: https://github.com/nipunru/nsfw-detector-android/tree/master ... but yes, doing it on the CLIENT SIDE would be so much preferable and not have to mess with relays at all....
This is an AWESOME SOLUTION for iOS (and hopefully android) and ideally that's all that will be required.
How could this be done on the web also in a more client-side manner?
A user's browser will never be able to produce scores for images... and we don't want each user having to make a "request for scores" for each image, do we? It will slow image display WAY down to wait for a request and a response from a "scoring" service, no matter if it was down with Nostr messages or http or whatever....
