Where are we gonna go from here? Seems like things are all mixed up right now. People idolizing corporate big wigs who are buying Bitcoin and doing the old bait and switch with ETFs. Our newer generation of Bitcoiners who idolize Saylor while you barely hear a mention in the feeds theses days of one of the greatest advocates of Bitcoin I have ever seen, Andreas Markos Antonopoulos.
This is freedom tech and I see very little freedom these days or even the give a fuck about freedom. I see a bunch of "What's the value today?" posts. What would you do if Bitcoin went to zero? Would you still support it? Would you still cry for freedom? Would you run a node or miner for the sake of securing one of the greatest introductions into mankind's history that could truly work to free him from the control of money-hungry oligarchs and tyrants?
I guess ask yourself why you are really into all of this. Is it about money or is it about really being free? Along with things like Nostr we are making a truly decentralized world where we all have a say, not just a group of 12 or so faceless billionaires in a meeting room deciding what you and your family and friends lives are going to be like. Who has a better idea of what a man's life is to be but the man himself?
I hope it crumbles. But a controlled crumble so some of us good, hard-working folk can get out relatively unscathed. I wish nothing for all of you but the very best and to live your life without someone's boot on your neck. Let's fucking do this because I am over it. I just want to be left alone and not messed with if I am not hurting anyone. And I expect not to be robbed of my energy from someone or some group that hasn't met me in person, but have deemed it ok to take what I have given my own personal energy for.
It's about time light rules over darkness and I am happy I have found a pool of light here on Nostr. You all take care of one another. They won't, so we have to.
