Man I feel like something fishy is going on….
1- all of a sudden btc core becomes openly dictatorial and refuses to seriously engage with an issue that is clearly controversial
2- the issue is not talked about enough in btc related forums/socials even if it’s clearly a massive massive proposal
3- Lyn Alden, which I always considered a reference in the btc community, gives strange answers about this issue and seems to have shift primarily focus on bitcoin from “monetary system” to “whatever there’s greater demand of in the market”
What is going on?!
And most of all, if implemented this change has negative side effect of potentially destroy btc as momentary system. This outcome is a massive harakiri for the core devs too. Why the hell would they do this? I don’t understand
