One thing I learned building software startups is to never build anticipatory solutions to problems that aren't actually causing unbearable pain today.
The odds are too good that the hypothetical problem is not really a problem at all, and you waste untold cycles building a hypothetical solution, never knowing if the problem was really solved and even introducing a cascade of new issues that need undoing later.
If it's not unbearable, punt until it is. I don't buy that #Bitcoin is heading towards an OP_RETURN disaster in the next 5 years. I just don't.
