just because "me" is a memory recorded inside my brain doesn't mean it doesn't have an existence outside of my brain
it just means whatever i think it is, is a thought, but that thought is about creating the best possible model that captures all of the details sufficient to be useful
all that we can apprehend is this moment, and then the replaying of memories and riffing them to create new ideas for how to make new memories... we are creatures of art, arising out of a deep desire of the creation to know itself
