European Central Bank: "A digital euro would be a digital form of cash, issued by the central bank and available to everyone in the euro area."
Let's try this version: "A permissionless, digitally currency, allowing any individual or entity to participate in the global economy. This system would be built on open-source technology, ensuring transparency and user control, and eliminating the need for intermediaries or central bank issuance."
That's cool and all, but this already exist.
What needs to cease to exist, is central banking.
