My podcast with nostr:nprofile1qyx8wumn8ghj7cnjvghxjmcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqg8wpcq7k9ludj6v6tvnqrf039zm2yzk29832mrtcm2frd6yjmgkrghzmsu3 this week has really got me thinking
- if I had to focus on "one platform" what would it be?
- there is only one answer to that question: NOSTR
- how do I build a podcast that is NOSTR-first?
- initially it's simply about being more social on NOSTR
- but you can add in pre-release of episodes
- exlcusive to NOSTR content
- whilst your guest list could take on a NOSTR focus
It seems obvious to me that the preferred long-term capital allocation is in a communication protocol that cannot ban you, in which the user is centric, and your "audience" is mobile from client to client
But god it's hard to ignore the status quo social media beasts
Especially when you see friends like Daniel build themselves such a strong position to grow from on X
But I guess that's the crux... How strong is your account when considered digital real estate when on X? Or any other platform?
I know the answer
It's not yours
Indeed, it never was
So the true delayed gratification, blue ocean, zero to one, is a content play aimed at NOSTR
Love it
Plenty of food for thought
Ps - I love a NOSTR newsfeed that is full of "conspiracy theories", posted by individuals who can't be cancelled, it's a genuine expression of freedom-of-speech, which over the long-run surely has to win. Open networks, if we needed reminding as Bitcoin advocates, are VERY hard to out-compete
