2025-02-12 16:40:41Raising #chickens isn't all fun and fluffy birds and nearly free eggs. One of ours recently got out and got torn up bad enough that I had to finish the job so she wouldn't suffer. First time I've had to do that. Pretty hard on the kids too since we don't have that many birds. It's a good lesson, circle of life and all that, but not fun. But new chicks will be in soon so we get to start again which is kinda nice.
